Sigma Rules That Everyone Must Follow During This Cuffing Season
When’s your favorite time of the year to get into cuffing relationships? Is it different for everyone, or is there a universal season for it? Do you even prefer the concept of casual dating, or is it just societal pressure for you? The answers to these questions may vary from person to person, but in our opinion, dating is kind of cool!
It’s always nice to have a person with whom you can relax and explore different things. After all, who wouldn’t want a significant other with who they can share their feelings with and cuddle, right?

Picking someone up for a small-term fling can sound quite cruel and disrespectful. We agree that since it’s a cuffing relationship, both the partners shouldn’t expect a lot out of it, yet this whole practice can make you look like scum in various situations.
So, what’s the best way to handle casual dating? It’s simple actually. Just set some ground rules (both emotional and financial).
Plan this phase of your life
We’ll be honest! A cuffing relationship isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. There are things and emotions that have the potential to go downhill during such situations. That’s why it’s a no-brainer that you have to set your priorities right. Ask yourself, do you really want to do this? Can you handle the ups and downs of a casual relationship, both on emotional and financial levels?
Once you have that clear, you’ll know what you’re getting yourself into. Allocate fixed funds for your dates, pen down the places where you can explore, or simply stick to virtual dating – the options are endless.

Test the waters
If you’re new to this concept, it’s better to have a field check before you go all out. Take a look at your monthly expenses and ask yourself, “am I eligible to cut down on things like traveling, shopping, and hanging out”? If not, then you’re not ready for a cuffing relationship. Dating requires a sense of selflessness to some extent, and if you’re not ready to cut down on some expenses, you’re not ready for anyone’s cuffing season; at least not for now.
Avoid being senselessly mushy
We know we sound contradictory, but hear us out. The closeness and lovey-dovey feeling is great in any kind of relationship, but try to not let it dominate your good sense. Be as strategic as you can and know when to stop.
For instance, on a date, it doesn’t matter who pays the bill or if you split it, but keep in mind that as per the rules of dating, whoever has asked the other for the date first should sponsor. And that goes without gender bias! So don’t expect the other to keep shelling the pennies every time, and don’t be fooled into doing it yourself too. When the bill arrives, don’t be in a rush to take out your card.

Final thoughts
Go as per the good old dating rules and behave strategically vulnerable. Don’t get too involved and try to put your feelings aside. In case you can’t, at least make sure you leave your wallet and credit card at home till you see things clearly.
